So, I bought a new rifle, I got the aug.

I was looking around for upgrade parts for it, and was wondering if this was a good price for everything other than the spring, because its too powerful. I would drop it to 120 or 130 at most for high power.

with a tightbore barrel of 650mm because i got a mock silencer by madbull with it.
But I also didnt know if I needed a new gearbox for it or not, I got confused :/

PS im trying to have everything on it done before our next game other than accessories for it.

Luis gets to feel it before me though  because I shipped it to his house. Yes Luis you read that correctly.

So I decided im gonna go with a sp120 tune up kit, 650mm tightbore :D metal hop up and a 9.6 battery, and possibly a new motor, unless you guys have other ideas, but yeah, it will be fun trying a bullpop style gun.

Cool! Unless you've already spent the money on it, I'd stick with the stock hopup and then swap it out later if the stock one gives you problems. I'm sure Emile would have more advice but I think he's still on vacation.

The 120 tune up kit sounds like a good idea. The 150 you linked to would have given you a slower rate of fire, and the gears would have been overkill for your spring. I would keep the hopup and gearbox stock until they break (if they ever do). Look around for some silencing mods... you can get an AUG pretty quiet by putting some material around the gear box.

Oh I already "man handle her" he he he

She feels nice to hold, back heavy too.

I do agree with Emile about the 120 tune up kit. Although it only has room or the small 8.4v 2/3a batteries so it doesn't have an insane rate of fire. I'm trying to modify my g36 so I can put a 9.6v battery w/o buying a new foregrip

Can't wait to see the aug in action. :)

Here's a 9.6v 2000mah battery for the Aug (it's out of stock on this website, but can be found on others):

There are also some 10.8v batteries for the Aug, but I'm assuming some modification of the butt stock is required. You can run lipos too, if you search for "Aug" on airsoft builds you can see all the different batteries people are using with them.

ok so deans plug, new battery, 120 tune up kit or at least 120 spring for now, tightbore, more magazines, and a holo sight. Am I missing anything?
Motor can be in the future if I dont like the rof, and I was told no metal hop up until it breaks.
