I was just wondering, could you upgrade a gas powered sniper rifle's fps, and if so is it hard. I have always wanted a sniper rifle, and the only thing holding me back was the spring inside them, in order for a more powerful rifle. But the gas powered should be a lot easier to pull back. I am left handed, so the right handed bolt was a little hard for me to get

The gas powered are only shooting about 500 fps with a .2 so I didn't know if there were upgrades to get it to compete with the bar 10's specs.

I just didn't know if the tightbore inner barrel would help some, or if it can even be used in a gas powered rifle, and since you guys have done a lot of research on other guns, you might know of some sites. I googled it, but a lot of people didn't even sound sure.

Looks like it can be done, I just did a quick search of the gas sniper rifles on airsoft builds, to see what fps people are getting and what they've got inside the gun.

Change the weapon type drop down to "Gas Rifles"...look for the m700, the m40's, etc. It looks like a few are using tight bore barrels as well.
